Difficult start in Life
I grew up with a dark shadow that was always running after me, the name of the shadow was alcohol. My parents were dealing with alcoholism and weren’t present with me as a child and that led to abandonment and developmental trauma. The food, therefore, became my form of love, protection, and security which resulted in my weight curve going straight up at 3 years of age. The first physical ailments started to appear already when I was 9 years old and was diagnosed with dandruff eczema and at 13 years I got the skin disease Rosacea which is considered a form of adult acne (usually blooms at about 30 years of age). As a 20-year-old, I also suffered from recurrent urinary tract infections, lumbago, forgetfulness, heart failure, fungal infections, constipation, and so on. The list can be made long, but the worst thing is that I am probably not alone with this type of story.
But in 2010 life changed completely and by pure coincidence, I heard about Raw Food and how gluten, sugar, and dairy products affect us and our health. It reasoned with me somehow, so I just had to try it out.
I can only say that life has not been the same since then!
Rosacea began to disappear for the first time in about 13 years, my weight dropped, stomach cramps that I thought were normal disappeared, dandruff became better, difficulty concentrating and forgetfulness disappeared, lumbago disappeared, and best of all the heart failure did not return.
I was saved! Raw Food, health, herbs, and supplements became my passion. It was what I breathed and lived for.
